A shot.... one mile away......
Last night I watched Shooter.Granted I am biased when it comes to Mark Wahlberg since he is my number 2 baby daddy after Jon B. I have a tendency to go watch his movies whether or not and despite and inspite.......
Now, back to the movie..... Mark Wahlberg plays a retired Bob Lee Swagger, a skilled marksman who left the army after some shady stuff went down in Ethiopia.
Now, some government people have come to him, saying that some anonymous tip says there will be an attempted shooting of the president and they need his help.
Shortly, he is framed for the shooting [which was not oof the president but of the Ethiopian Archbishop. The rest... is obvious... he seeks revenge... shoots people... there is alot of blood.
Damn! I love Mark Wahlberg!
That being said, I hated Danny Glover... I hated his acting, I hated how he spoke.No! Seriously..... was Samuel L Jackson too busy making another crappy movie?? Why wasnt he used?? Maybe he was too expensive me thinks......
Anyway, its a good movie [I was tempted to say it was awesome but then again, thats just my blood boiling from there mere thought of Mark Wahlberg. *sigh*
I give it a 3.92/5

The snow scene....great reminded me of four brothers only this one was bloody..

I recently got to watch this film on DVD and I have to strongly disagree with you. I think this is the worst film I have watched so far this year.
The plot is so shallow, actually there is no plot. You messed with me so you have to die. Even Danny Glover whom one could count on to be a presence in the film, failed miserably.
PS I may be forced to review my statement.It is not really the worst film it is a close second to Nicholas Cage rubbish film, Next. Now that stunk
Loved the plot,the scenes were not too long neither too short.Is it me or is killing the American president an overused plot?
